What is the role of an Exercise Physiologist?
Exercise Physiologists are university qualified health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.
Exercise Physiologists assist wellbeing for those with a range of conditions including:

Jess Lucaciu, Bachelor Degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology
Previously working as a Respiratory Scientist Jess developed an interest in cardiopulmonary conditions that led to a desire in wanting her to further help individuals in managing their condition and improving their lifestyle. This then led Jess to further her studies, graduating as an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) from Griffith University in 2018. After working with different populations as an AEP Jess developed a special interest in neurological conditions and rehabilitation.
Jess states “I have had the privilege of seeing the amazing benefits that exercise has on the management of conditions and the positive impact on lifestyle. Exercise is truly medicine! I have a passionate and strong focus on exercise programs designed to improve functional capacity that enables an individual to perform tasks of daily living which in return has the potential of improving one’s quality of life. I have a passion for promoting and living a healthy lifestyle and empowering others to achieve their goals”.
