What is the role of an Exercise Physiologist?
Exercise Physiologists are university qualified health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.

James Bevitt, Bachelor Degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology
Graduating from Queensland University of Technology in 2018, James is an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Brisbane born and bred he is now a Logan local with a background in strength and conditioning and musculoskeletal injury prevention and rehabilitation. After working with chronic disease populations in Rockhampton and Brisbane he has developed a special interest in cardiopulmonary and metabolic conditions and is passionate for Exercise Physiology driven health interventions designed to improve functional capacity and ability to perform activities of daily living and patient quality of life. “My job is to add value to people’s lives. From improving the basics like getting out of a chair, to reducing your pain or for improving your mental health and feeling of well-being, I really believe exercise is the best medicine. Nothing gives me more pleasure than watching someone achieve their goals!”
