About LS Speech Pathology
LS Speech Pathologists provide high quality speech pathology services to all ages across the lifespan. Starting from infants as young as 2 years up to 90+ years of age.
LS Speech Pathology provide services for children and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. This includes those who have difficulties with:
- understanding language
- using their voice
- experiencing difficulties swallowing food and drink safely.
Fees are applicable for most services. Please contact the LS Speech Pathology office on 0401 195 038 for a full schedule of fees.
We accept cash and credit/debit cards at the time of your consultation.
Rebates and funding assistance options:
Medicare: Our staff are registered providers with Medicare Australia under the medical benefits scheme (MBS). Rebates may apply, so please discuss with your GP. We DO NOT BULK BILL, there are out of pocket expenses still involved.
Private health: Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible for rebates. Please discuss with your insurer.
Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA): Our staff are registered providers with DVA. A doctors referral is required. Eligible clients are bulk billed for these services.
HCWA: Helping Children with Autism Funding. We are registered providers for this program.
NDIS: We are also registered to provide therapy supports and early intervention for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.
WorkCover: Lorelle Savage is a registered provider for Workcover Qld.
Lorelle is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, with over 15 years of experience. Lorelle started LS Speech Pathology part-time in 2008. She has previously worked for the NHS in the United Kingdom, and Qld Health, in hospital and community health settings.
Lorelle has many years experience working with adults and children across a variety of different caseloads.
Lorelle has strong interests in working with adults with progressive neurological disorders, voice disorders and children with literacy difficulties. Lorelle is a Certified Hanen trained therapist in It Takes Two to Talk and the More Than Words programs, VoiceCraft and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for people with Parkinson’s related voice disorders.
Lorelle also has a young family and spends all of her spare time enjoying time with them.
